Army troops-built house vested in a needy family
November 19, 2021Sri Lanka Army (SLA) further expanding its community-oriented projects constructed a house for a needy family in Kidapidichchikulam, Naddankandal and vested in the family recently.
10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) built the house with a joint sponsorship of 652 Brigade troops and a few donors, including Mrs Devika Edirisinghe and Mrs Hashini Kumarage, the SLA sources said.
Senior officers and troops were also associated with the house warming ceremony of the beneficiary of the project, Mrs Jeganthi Liyanage Nilanka, the SLA confirmed.
