Pooneryn Troops with Sponsor Gift School Accessories to 100 Students
January 09, 2022661 Brigade troops of the 66 Division in Pooneryn implemented one more civil-military cooperation project with sponsorship of the Hatton National Bank on Tuesday (4).
100 deserving school children in 10 selected schools under the programme, held at Paramankeerai Tamil Mixed School received those incentives including school accessories and books, together with some other essentials.
Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu, Major Genaral Sanjaya Wanasinghe attended the occasion as the Chief Guest and joined the distribution of those gift parcels at the invitation of the General Officer Commanding, 66 Division, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo.
Staff officers of the SFHQ-MLT and 66 Division and Other Ranks took part in the arrangement. The programme was organized strictly adhering to health guidelines.
