Flag Officer Commanding Western Fleet of Indian Navy meets Army and Navy chiefs
March 11, 2022The Flag Officer Commanding Western Fleet of the Indian Navy, Rear Admiral Sameer Saxena called on the Acting Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army General Shavendra Silva and Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne on separate occasions at the Army Headquarters and the Navy Headquarters on Thursday (Mar 10) respectively.
According to Sri Lanka Navy Media, Rear Admiral Saxena arrived with the two ships, Indian Navy Ship ‘Chennai’, a destroyer and Flagship of the Indian Western Fleet, and the frigate ‘Teg’ that called at the port of Colombo yesterday.
