Army Rowers Win Gold & Silver in Junior National Rowing Championship-2022

The Junior National Rowing Championship - 2022 concluded recently at the Diyawannawa Rowing Centre after three days of intense competitions.

A total of 20 Rowing Sports Clubs from Tri-services, schools and universities took part in the tournament. The Sri Lanka Army women’s rowing team once again lifted the trophy in the Women’s category, having won 4 Gold medals and 1 Bronze medal. Similarly, the Sri Lanka Army Men’s category also won 2 Gold medals and 3 Silver medals. The tournament was organized by Amateur Rowing Association of Sri Lanka.
