Air Force assists backward school
October 01, 2019As a part of their social service initiatives troops of the Sri Lanka Air Force in Vavuniya rendered much needed assistance to a backward school in the region, recently. According to Air Force media, the Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya conducted a charity programme at Mahakachchakodiya Primary School on Saturday (28 September).
Air Force troops lent assistance to renovate the school’s building and also donated 750 books for the under privileged children of this primary school.
Base Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya, Air Commodore LH Sumanaweera, officers and other rank personnel were also present at the occasion.
