KDU Powerlifters emerge overall champions

Making their presence felt in the local powerlifting arena, the Powerlifting Team of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University emerged as the overall men’s champions in the “All Island Shakthi Open Powerlifting Competition -2019”, states KDU media. Navy brings ashore injured seaman from oil tanker

Responding to a request by the Port Control Centre, the Sri Lanka Navy rushed one of its Fast Attack Craft (FAC) to bring ashore an injured seaman onboard an oil tanker, last morning (26th August). The said seaman had sustained injuries while working onboard the tanker, states Navy media.
