SLAF entertains residents ‘staying at homes’ in Bambalapitiya flats

April 07, 2020

Entertaining the residents who support the Government’s request to ‘Stay at Home’ to restrict public movements to control the spread of COVID-19, the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has held its first mobile musical program at Milagiriya Flats in Bambalapitiya, on April 5.

Since Colombo has been declared as a high risk zone for spreading COVID-19, the Tri-Forces and Police commenced their mobile musical shows to entertain residents in highly populated areas in the district to make them feel not bored.

The SLAF held its second musical entertainment at the Wanathamulla Housing Complex.

The SLAF said it would continue to conduct such entertainment programs under the directions of SLAF Commander Air Marhsal Sumangala Dias to support the Government’s effort to control the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
