Army conducts musical shows near Anderson and Lakeview flats
April 22, 2020Continuing musical programs to entertain people who 'Stay Home' during extended curfew hours to contain the spread of COVID -19 outbreak, Sri Lanka Army (SLA) beat group conducted two more shows near the Thimbirigasyaya Anderson Flats and Angoda Lakeview Residencies Flats respectively on Sunday (19) and Monday (20) evening.
SLA organises these entertainment shows to ease off residents’ stress and boredom due to prolonged confinement inside their homes. SLA vocalists sang Sinhala, Tamil and English songs to which the inmate danced, clapped, waved their hands and cheered from balconies nonstop.
