Coronavirus positive Navy sailors rise to 95, and total soars to 477
April 26, 2020Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva said, 95 Navy personnel have contracted coronavirus according to the PCR tests and 68 of them are from the Welisara Navy Camp.
The remaining 27 have been identified as the personnel who are on leave, he said.
The Health Ministry indicates that, another six patients were confirmed positive for coronavirus, increasing the total number of COVID-19 infections to 477 in the island.
