Two batches of Sri Lankans from Kuwait arrived at BIA
May 20, 2020KU 1453 Sri Lankan Airline flight carrying 179 Sri Lankans from Kuwait, arrived in the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) around 1.00 am today (May 20), Airport Duty Manager Chaminda Jayasundara said.
He also informed defence.lk that, initial batch of 287 Sri Lankans also arrived in the island from Kuwait yesterday evening (19) in Sri Lankan Airlines charter flight KU 1451.
Jayasundara confirmed all returnees were disinfected by the Sri Lanka Air Force personnel at the BIA prior to their departure for 14-day quarantine process.
