Arrest for curfew violations soars to 64,341
May 27, 2020A total of 66,341 individuals have been arrested while 18,695 vehicles taking into custody for curfew violations since March 20, said SP Jaliya Senaratne speaking to defence.lk short while ago.
According to SP Senaratne, a total of 411 individuals and 81 vehicles have been arrested during the last curfew imposed hours ending 4.00 am today (May 27).
Meanwhile, 21,225 law suits have been filed with regard to curfew violations so far, he said.
