SLN nabs three drug dealers
June 23, 2020Combined search operation conducted by Sri Lanka Navy (SLN), Kinniya and Thambalagamuwa Police stations arrested three drug dealers yesterday (June 22).
The Eastern Naval Command launching joint operations with the Police nabbed a person with 400 milligrams of heroin in his possession at Kinniya town and another two persons from Thambalagamuwa with 100 grams of Kerala cannabis. The light-truck in which they were carrying cannabis was also taken into custody.
Smugglers, aged 31, 39 and 40 years are residents of Kinniya, Kanthale and Kalutara, SLN said.
Kinniya and Thambalagamuwa Police are conducting further investigations.
