196 COVID-19 cases confirmed at Kandakadu Rehabilitation Centre
July 10, 2020The PCR tests conducted for 338 persons including inmates and staff at the Rehabilitation Centre in Kandakadu yesterday (July 09), 196 have been confirmed positive for Coronavirus today (10).
Accordingly, the total COVID-19 cases reported from the Rehabilitation Centre has risen to 252.
According to the Director General of Health Services, Dr. Anil Jasinghe, there is a possibility of more patients reported from the Rehabilitation Centre.
He said all efforts were made to avoid any possibilities of spreading the virus to the community.
