Army troops clean Sakkotte Beach in Jaffna
September 04, 2023Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops under command to the Security Force HQ - Jaffna cleaned Sakkote beach patch in Jaffna recently with a view to preserve the beach.
The programme was launched by 4 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment of the 52 Infantry Division of 521 Infantry Brigade in coordination with the relevant state agencies in the region, the SLA sources stated.
The SLA Troops, Point Pedro Police and the Divisional Council provided resources to make the event successful.
