Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India Calls on Defence Secretary
June 05, 2025Sri Lanka’s newly appointed High Commissioner to India, Ms. Maheshika Kolonne, paid a courtesy call on Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) at the Ministry of Defence today ( June 5).
Defence Secretary Thuyacontha warmly welcomed Ms. Kolonne and extended his best wishes for her diplomatic tenure in New Delhi.
Before assuming her new role, Ms. Kolonne served as the Additional Secretary for Multilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
