Defence Ministry Extends Compassionate Support for Rathmalana Blind School

Upholding this spirit of care and inclusivity, the Ministry of Defence has pledged its assistance to the Past Pupils’ Association of the Blind School for their forthcoming pilgrimage to Jaffna.
The commitment was formalised during a meeting held today (Aug 25) at the Ministry premises, where a representative of the association met with the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd).
This initiative underscores the Ministry’s broader vision of social responsibility, demonstrating its commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities and ensuring that persons with special needs are embraced within the national fabric.
