Saudi Military Attaché Calls on the Defence Secretary
September 26, 2025The Military Attaché to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in New Delhi and Colombo, Captain (Navy) Hussain Othman Al kowaileet, paid a courtesy call on the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at the Ministry of Defence today (26 September).
The Defence Secretary extended a warm welcome to the visiting Attaché and the subsequent discussions centred on matters of mutual interest. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation and recalled the longstanding cordial relations that have existed between Sri Lanka and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
