The Defence Secretary Attends Maldivian “Maahefun”

The Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Sampath Thuyacontha, attended a special “Maahefun” reception hosted by H.E. Masood Imad, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to Sri Lanka, today (16 February).
The traditional Maldivian feast, held prior to the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, took place at the High Commission of Maldives in Colombo.
Ministers, Senior State officials and members of the diplomatic corps were present for this occasion.
