Humanitarian Assistance Extends to Veteran Family by Seva Vanitha Unit
February 20, 2026The Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry of Defence, under the patronage of its President, Dr. (Mrs.) Ruvini Rasika Perera, extended its continued support through a donation programme held today (20 February) at the Ministry premises.
During the programme, a financial contribution was granted for the upgrading of an artificial limb of a child from a veteran family. The assistance reflects the Unit’s steadfast commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of military families who have made immense sacrifices in service to the nation.
