Army troops and HUDEC join tree planting drive in Eluthumaduwal
March 12, 2021Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna and 'Caritas - Human Development Centre (HUDEC) Jaffna jointly launched a tree planting drive at Eluthumaduwal, Jaffna recently.
2000 saplings of mango, orange, guava, jack, cashew, pomegranate etc. will be planted in the area, under the theme of “Friendship Journey of Caritas Family to North”.
Jaffna Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr Justin B Gnanapragasam, religious dignitaries, Commander Security Forces Jaffna Maj. Gen. Priyantha Perera, the Assistant District Secretary Jaffna, Senior Officers, Members of HUDEC and troops were present at the occasion.
