Defence Secretary praised SLAF swimmer
May 06, 2021Corporal Roshan Abeysundara of the Sri Lanka Air Force who recently set the Asian Long Distance Swimming Record met the Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) at the Defence Ministry today (May 6).
During the meeting, the Defence Secretary appreciated Corporal Abeysundara’s achievement of swimming from Thalaimannar to Dhanushkodi in India and back while setting a new record.
The Defence Secretary also presented a memento to Corporal Abeysundara and extended the best wishes for his future endeavours.
