Army troops avert Hanwella flood water spilling
May 24, 2021Sri Lanka Army troops placed sandbags along low-lying areas of the Kelani river in the Ihala Hanwella Polwatte yesterday (May 23) to avert overflowing and submerging public roads around the area.
10 Sri Lanka National Guard soldiers under the Security Force Headquarters –West actively attended and the Army, Police and DMC officials observed the task.
