SRIMED-2 medical teams in South Sudan attends serious cases

Sri Lankan Level-2 (SRIMED-2) hospital in South Sudan conducted emergency operations while  transferring serious cases from Bor to Juba and Entebbe recently.

The Army said SRIMED-2 hospital is equipped with two Air Medical Evacuation teams (AMET), a medical team, and one operation theatre at Bor in South Sudan.

SRIMED's AMET successfully contributed to MEDIVAC and CASEVAC in South Sudan.

All those surgical emergencies, medical emergencies were done while taking care of complicated COVID-19 positive cases among the patients, the Army also added.
