Island wide travel restrictions extended until June 21
June 11, 2021The island wide travel restrictions are further extended until 4.00 a.m. on June 21 (Monday), said the Army Commander Gen. Shavendra Silva a short while ago.
Accordingly, the travel restrictions which are currently in force would not be lifted on June 14.
However, in addition to essential services, apparel factories, major construction sites, weekly village fair (Sathi Pola), agricultural and organic fertilizer production activities would be permitted to function under health guidelines, the Army Commander confirmed.
