Chinese Defence Attaché calls on Defence Secretary
June 17, 2021The Defence Attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, Senior Col. Wan Dong met Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) at the new Defence Ministry complex today (Jun 17).
Matters of bilateral importance and mutual relevance were discussed during the cordial discussion held between the Defence Secretary and Senior Col. Wan Dong.
Meanwhile, Gen. Gunaratne congratulated the Chinese envoy for the recent successful mission of sending astronauts to a new space station.
Military Liaison Officer Brig. Dinesh Nanayakkara was also present at the meeting.
