Military braced vaccination drive facilitates a large crowd

The military-run vaccination process which commenced yesterday following a directive of His Excellency the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has facilitated a large crowed while enhancing the on-going national vaccination drive.

Western Province-based civilians above 30 years of age can thus receive the vaccine at Narahenpita, Battaramulla, Panagoda and Werahera centres from 5 July onwards between 8.30 am-4.30 pm producing a proof of permanent residence.

Similarly, civilians over 60 years of age can receive the jabs at Community Vaccination Centres at Galle, Matara, Badulla, Anuradhapura, Minneriya, Kilinochchi, Mullaithivu and Mannar district centres.

Sri Lanka Navy is also conducting the vaccination at the Lighthouse premises in Chaithya Road, Colombo and Elapitiwela Chandrawansha Vidyalaya, Ragama commencing from yesterday.
