Italian Defence Attaché meets Defence Secretary

(Navy) Fabrizio Falzi, Defence Attaché of Italy for India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka accompanied by the Italian Ambassador in Colombo Her Excellency Rita Giuliana Mannella paid a courtesy call on Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry today (Dec 06).
The Italian Defence Attaché making his maiden visit to the Defence Ministry today, held cordial discussions with the Defence Secretary to further strengthen the existing defence ties between the two countries.
Gifts were also exchanged to mark the occasion.
The event was held in keeping with the stipulated healthcare guidelines to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Military Liaisons Officer Maj. Gen. Dinesh Nanayakkara was also present at the meeting.
