SLN douses fire in three shops in Wattala
May 06, 2022The Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) doused a fire that erupted in three textile shops in a two-storied building in Elakanda, Wattala today morning (May 06).
Following the receipt of information about the fire, SLN’s fire fighting team rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control with the help of the residents while preventing it from spreading further, the SLN sources said.
The SLN further said fire-fighters attached to SLNS Gemunu was sent to the location with necessary equipment in order to douse the fire.
