August 18, 2022

The General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) launched its volume 01, issue 02 of the International Journal of Research in Computing (IJRC) published by the Faculty of Computing recently.

Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr. ADAI Gunasekara presented the first copy of IJRC Volume 01, Issue 02 to the KDU Vice Chancellor Maj. Gen. Milinda Peiris during a brief event organized for the launch.

The IJRC is a peer-reviewed bi-annual publication that provides a forum for both Sri Lankan and international scholars with an opportunity to disseminate the latest knowledge in computing and such cutting-edge technologies.

Each article in this volume is written with the outcome of high-quality research and offers new insights while laying the foundations for further exploratory and experimental work, the KDU said.

The KDU also said this journal will augment the literature in the field for the betterment of future research and further said each article is blind reviewed through three (3) expert reviewers from a panel of Sri Lankan and international referees in the respective research area.

The best and quality papers were selected based on the recommendation of the eminent members of the editorial board of IJRC, KDU.

The KDU believes that IJRC will inculcate sustainable research culture among academics and professionals through its continuous publication.
