Army Assists clearing waste water blockage
August 23, 2022Sri Lanka Army (SLA) together with Urban Council, Road Development Authority and other employees cleared a sewage water blockage with waste elements at Nawalapitiya town recently.
The troops of the Army Centre for Disaster Response Training (ACDRT) at Atabage, Gampola contributed their services in the community project, the SLA sources said.
The drains became clogged with waste elements and blocked the passage of rain water affecting the water pumping and purification station at Hanngran oya, the Army also stated.
