KDU ‘International Research Conference’ to be held next week
September 03, 2019The Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) will hold its annual ‘International Research Conference’ (IRC) next week (11th & 12th September). This will be the 12th in the series of annual research conferences to be conducted by the premier defence university of the country.
The KDU campus in Ratmalana will be the host venue for the conference, which will be held under the theme ‘Challenges to Humankind in the face of new Technologies’.
The Conference will feature pre-conference workshops, plenary sessions, poster presentations and technical sessions of nine disciplines including Defence and Strategic Studies, Law, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities, Built Environment and Spatial Sciences, Computing, Engineering, Medicine, Basic and Applied Sciences, and Allied Health Sciences.
Last year, the 11th IRC was held on 13th and 14th of (September 2018) under the theme ‘Securing Professional Excellence through Collaboration’.
