Ranaviru Apparels starts producing disposable microfiber suits for medics
March 23, 2020The Ranaviru Apparels garment factory of the Sri Lanka Army commenced producing disposable microfiber suits with shoe covers for medical teams while treating or quarantining infected individuals.
The suits have been produced at low cost using micron 137 (polythene) by sealer machines under a new technology. The Darley Company (Pvt) Ltd sponsored the supply of those sealer machines to the factory.
The first stock was handed over to Director General of Health Services Dr Anil Jasingha by the Commandant of Ranaviru Apparels Maj.Gen. Manjula Manatunga
