Total of 21,000 PCR tests conducted so far
May 01, 2020A total of 21,000 PCR tests have been conducted so far and only three percent has been confirmed as virus contracted in the island, the President Media Division (PMD) says.
Medical experts have also highlighted this as a positive trend of the quarantine process during a meeting held with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday (30).
According to PMD, out of 997 Navy personnel who underwent PCR tests, only 159 have been tested positive and 80 percent of them have not been diagnosed for symptoms.
