STF arrests a wanted criminal from Ragama
June 20, 2020A 72-hour detention order was issued by the Magistrate Court, Welisara yesterday (19) for a criminal arrested from Ragama for making death threats and committing several other robberies.
Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested the wanted criminal with a hand grenade, poniard, kerala cannabis and a car at Horape in Ragama.
Gampaha and Welisara courts had issued arrest warrants for the suspect previously.
The Ragama Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
