Quarantine curfew imposed to 5 Police areas in Colombo
October 22, 2020Quarantine curfew has been imposed to Mattakkuliya, Modara, Wellampitiya, Bloemendhal and Grandpass Police areas in Colombo District with immediate effect, the Government Information Department announced a short while ago (22 Oct).
Quarantine curfew will be effective until further notice.
The Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said, vehicles travelling through the curfew imposed Police areas are permitted to travel without stopping in the said areas.
Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva said essential workers are allowed to use their service identity cards as curfew passes.
