Seva Vanitha 'Avurudu Pola' held at the Ministry
April 10, 2023Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne visited the special 'Avurudu Pola' (Festival fair) organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry at the Ministry premises, today (10 Apr).
Fresh vegetable and fruits, dry rations, dairy products, processed food products, readymade garments, and foot ware were available at concessionary rates at stalls put by tri forces and Civil Security Department. The fair is organized as a welfare measure to offer good quality goods to the Defence Ministry employees at concessionary rates during this festival season.
Senior Ministry officials, military officers and members of the Ministry staff were present at the 'Avurudu Pola'.
