Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne delivered a lecture on a timely topic and shared his vast experience with a diverse group of professionals at the National Defence College (NDC) Sri Lanka today (Nov 10).
During the session, Gen. Gunaratne’s lecture on ‘National Security Strategy Decision-Making Structure in Sri Lanka’ aided the audience in broadening their horizons on various aspects of national security.
The lecture was delivered at the invitation of the Commandant NDC, Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa who graciously welcomed the Defence Secretary upon his arrival at the prestigious defence learning institute.
The NDC was inaugurated in 2021 as the premier strategic education establishment in Sri Lanka to develop future policymakers in the realm of national security, statecraft, governance, diplomacy and international security to strengthen the national security mechanism.
Indicating the significance of the occasion, NDC Commandant presented a memento to the Defence Secretary at the end of the session.
