Indian Deputy High Commissioner Meets Defence Secretary
August 19, 2025Deputy High Commissioner of India in Colombo, Dr. Satyanjal Pandey met with the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at the Ministry of Defence today (Aug 19).
The Deputy High Commissioner was accompanied by the Indian Defence Adviser (DA), Captain Anand Mukundan along with Assistant Defence Advisor Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi.
The Indian delegation was warmly received by the Defence Secretary before engaging in a cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest and bilateral significance.
The meeting reinforced the enduring friendship and collaborative spirit between Sri Lanka and India.
