Outgoing Director General of CDRD calls on Defence Secretary
November 04, 2025The outgoing Director General of the Centre for Defence Research and Development (CDRD) Commodore Janaka Gunaseela, made a call on the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at his office yesterday (3 October).
The Defence Secretary engaged in a cordial discussion with the Outgoing Director General, during which he conveyed his sincere gratitude for the Director General's insightful service and contributions to the Centre for Defence Research and Development (CDRD). Further the Defence Secretary used this occasion to extend his best wishes to Commodore Gunaseela for his future professional endeavors.
