Prima Group Sri Lanka Donates Over Rs. 300 Million Worth of Dry
Rations to Flood Victims

Prima Group Sri Lanka has donated a stock of Prima dry rations, valued at over Rs. 300 million, to the Government of Sri Lanka yesterday evening (November 30) for distribution among people affected by floods, landslides, and other disasters across the island.
The symbolic acceptance of this significant donation took place at the Ministry of Defence premises, received by the Secretary of Defence, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retired). Representing the Prima Group, Mr. Sajith Gunaratne, General Manager of Ceylon Agro Industries Limited, and Mr. Sanjeeva Perera, General Manager of Ceylon Grain Elevators, officially handed over the stock of dry rations.
The exceptional support from the private sector for the government’s efforts to deliver prompt relief to the affected public further reinforces the strong cooperation between the state and private sectors in disaster management.
