Tudawe Trading Donates High - Pressure Cleaning Equipment to Support
National Flood-Relief Efforts

A donation ceremony was held at the Ministry of Defence premises today (03 December), where Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) formally received a consignment of essential cleaning equipment from Tudawe Trading Pvt Ltd to bolster ongoing national flood-relief and recovery operations.

Tudawe Trading Pvt Ltd, the long-standing Sri Lankan partner of Kärcher Germany, presented five (05) heavy-duty high-pressure washer machines, valued at approximately Rs. 3.5 million. The equipment is expected to significantly aid Government-led efforts to restore public facilities impacted by the widespread flooding triggered by Cyclone Ditwah.

The company noted that the donation aligns with Kärcher’s global commitment to humanitarian assistance, emphasising its aim to help sanitation and disaster-response teams expedite cleanup operations in severely affected regions. Tudawe Trading further stated that its technical team stands ready to provide demonstrations and training to operational personnel to ensure the effective use of the machines.

Expressing his appreciation, the Defence Secretary commended the timely and meaningful contribution, acknowledging its importance in strengthening national disaster management and recovery initiatives.
