DSCSC Academic Staff Receive iPads from Defence Secretary
December 10, 2025The Defence Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Management of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retired), formally handed over 22 new iPads to the College’s academic staff today (10 December).
The handover took place while the Defence Secretary was attending a lecture for the participants of DSCSC Course No. 19.
To begin the distribution, the Defence Secretary symbolically presented the first five iPads to the three Chief Instructors and Senior Instructors of the Academic Wings. In total, 22 iPads were distributed to the Directing Staff of the Academic Wings under this initiative.
This technological enhancement is expected to significantly support the Directing Staff in the execution of their academic duties, contributing to improved performance and maintaining the high standards of education at the institution.
