MoD Seva Vanitha Unit Holds Medical Camp for ‘Ditwa’ Cyclone

Extending a compassionate hand to those displaced by the recent natural disaster, the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry of Defence (MoD SVU), in collaboration with the Lady Doctors’ Association (LDA), organized a medical campaign on 20 December.
The initiative was specifically held for the victims of the ‘Ditwa’ Cyclone currently taking shelter at the safety center established at K/ Kalaivani Tamil Vidyalayam in Pupuressa,Gampola.
The event was held under the patronage and guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Ruvini Rasika Perera, the Chairperson of the Ministry of Defence Seva Vanitha Unit, who personally attended the program to oversee the relief efforts and interact with the displaced families.
