Well-Wisher Donates Wheelchair to Ministry of Defence Seva Vanitha Unit
January 12, 2026In a heartening gesture of social responsibility, Mrs. Christeen Oellrich, a well-wisher from Andiambalama, donated a wheelchair to the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry of Defence today (12 January). The donation was handed over to representatives of the SVU to support their ongoing welfare initiatives, highlighting the impact of individual contributions in uplifting those in need.
This wheelchair will be utilised to assist deserving individuals with mobility challenges. Through such contributions, the MOD Seva Vanitha Unit continues its mission of providing essential assistive devices to underprivileged persons.
