SLN nabs Cannabis worth over Rs. 39 million
May 23, 2021Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) today (23) set fire to Rs. 39 million worth Cannabis nabbed from Thandamanaru, Jaffna.
According to the SLN, illegal substances were nabbed during a foot patrol conducted in the beach area of Thandamanaru in Jaffna yesterday (22) and the recovered Cannabis weighing about 131kg and 800g during the raid have been left by the racketeers.
The entire operation was conducted in keeping with the healthcare guidelines to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the SLN confirmed.
