SLN and STF nabbed Cannabis
The Sri Lanka Navy (SLN), with the assistance of the Special Task Force (STF) nabbed a suspect with 01 kilo and 450 grams of cannabis during a special raid carried out in Mannar on Thursday (May 20).
SLN to douse fire on-board a container ship
The fire erupted on-board ‘X-PRESS PEARL’, a container ship in anchorage about 9.5 nautical miles northwest of Colombo Port as brought under control by the SLN ships and craft dispatched for the task, said the Navy’s Media Spokesperson Capt. Indika De Silva today (21).
Fishing communities to be on alert
